Ed Weaver

ed weaver coverTen souvenir saucers trace a married couple’s life.

Emma died from a heart attack. The day after her funeral, once the children are gone, Ed is in the house alone. Pushed back in his recliner. Waiting for the clock to strike Nine so he can go upstairs to bed. Picks up the newspaper and reads Emma’s obituary. Studies the souvenir saucers on the living room wall. They got the first one, “Lover’s Leap from Look Mountain in Tennessee,” on their honeymoon over forty-six years ago. First time either of us saw mountains.

ED WEAVER, a Kindle Countdown deal until June 10, 2016, is a simple love story in 20th century Alabama. Enter for a chance to win an online copy here.
